Presidential message

Dear Kababayans, Friends, and Supporters,

It is with great honor and humility that I accept the responsibility of serving as President of PACT Inc. for the term 2024–2026. I am deeply grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me and our team of officers, as we continue to uphold the vision and mission of PACT: to strengthen unity, celebrate culture, and provide meaningful service to our community.

The next two years will be a journey of collaboration, inclusivity, and empowerment. We envision PACT not only as a cultural organization but as a true home for every Filipino-Australian in Tasmania—where our stories, traditions, and values are nurtured, respected, and shared with pride. Through our projects and events, we aim to foster deeper connections with one another, build stronger partnerships with the wider community, and provide opportunities for growth and belonging for all generations.

Our theme for this term is “Together in Unity, Service, and Celebration.” With this guiding spirit, we will:
• Strengthen our cultural identity through vibrant festivals, youth engagement, and heritage preservation.
• Provide avenues of support and inclusion for families, seniors, and new migrants.
• Build partnerships that uplift not only our Filipino-Australian community but also contribute to Tasmania’s multicultural landscape.
• Inspire our youth to carry forward our legacy with passion and leadership.

I believe that each one of us has a vital role to play. PACT is not just about its officers—it is about all of us, standing hand in hand, sharing our talents, supporting one another, and celebrating the beauty of being Filipino in Australia.

Let us look forward with hope, commitment, and joy. Together, we will continue to build a stronger community where our culture shines, our voices are heard, and our people are empowered.
