The spirit of Christmas arrived early in Tasmania as the Paskuhan Fiesta 2024, a vibrant Filipino-style Christmas festival, lit up the community on Saturday morning, 30th of November 2025 at the Kingborough Community Hub.

This remarkable event marked a historic milestone as the first major project of President Joey Ramirez and the PACT Inc officers for 2024–2025, and notably, the first time a president from Launceston led the organization—highlighting unity across Tasmania beyond the Hobart region.
With an incredible turnout of more than 3,000 attendees from across Tasmania, the Paskuhan Fiesta brought together Filipino-Australians and friends of the community in a joyful celebration of culture, food, and togetherness. The venue came alive with food caravans and vibrant stalls, offering authentic Filipino delicacies and showcasing traditional craftsmanship—giving everyone a true taste of the Philippines.

The fiesta served as an early Christmas gathering filled with warmth, laughter, and festive cheer. Families and friends came together to celebrate Filipino traditions, creating a sense of home away from home.

The event was graced by Paula Wriedt, whose presence added prestige and significance to the celebration, showing strong support from the local community.
Fil-OZ Got Talent TASMANIAÂ 2024
A major highlight of the day was the first-ever Fil-OZ Got Talent Tasmania, featuring 14 talented contestants. The crowd was captivated by the outstanding performance of Ms. Fae Guir, whose powerful vocal performance earned her the championship title—truly a world-class act.
 Little Miss Tasmania 2024
Adding charm and excitement to the event was the inaugural Little Miss Tasmania 2024. The crown was proudly won by Janiyeh Ransom of Kingston, whose confidence, cuteness, and charisma won the hearts of the audience.
Grand Raffle Draw
Excitement filled the air during the raffle draw, with over AUD $4,000 worth of prizes awarded. A special congratulations goes to the major prize winner of AUD $1,000 from Launceston. The raffle added thrill and anticipation, making the celebration even more memorable.
